LOEI, THAILAND – Management and staff from the Khon Kaen University Library participated in the third “Mind Development for Work” training program from February 11-13, 2569, held at the Wat Pa Muang Khai temple in Phu Ruea District, Loei Province.
The program aimed to deepen participants’ understanding of both the Khon Kaen University Code of Conduct and Buddhist principles, with the goal of applying these teachings to enhance their professional performance and personal lives.
Attendees included Donbawornpat Meekunchorn, Assistant Director for Digital Technology and Security; Chutikarn Butprom, a Specialist Librarian and coordinator for the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine’s library; and Komsri Komthippayarat, Head of the Administration and Human Resources unit.
The workshop featured a lecture on the university’s code of ethics and professional conduct delivered by Surapol Petchwara, Chairman of the Khon Kaen University Ethics Committee and a distinguished member of the University Council.
The training combined theoretical knowledge with practical exercises, including observing Buddhist precepts and engaging in meditation practice. The event was designed to provide staff with ethical and spiritual tools for application in their daily work and overall well-being.
