KKU Library Holds Seminar to Align Staff with 2026 Operational Goals

The Khon Kaen University (KKU) Library held a seminar on its 2026 fiscal year operational plan, aiming to align staff with the organization’s strategic direction and foster a collaborative environment to achieve service excellence.

The event, titled “Seminar on the Dissemination of the Operational Plan and Brainstorming for OKR/KRL Implementation for Fiscal Year 2026,” took place on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Pluk-Suk Farm in Khon Kaen. Library staff attended the full-day workshop from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

The primary goal of the seminar was to communicate the library’s 2026 operational plan, which is structured around the Objectives and Key Results (OKR) and Key Result Libraries (KRL) frameworks. The event was designed to ensure all personnel have a clear and unified understanding of the library’s goals, thereby enhancing efficiency and mission alignment across all departments.

In his opening remarks, Associate Professor Dr. Supat Sinawat, the Director of the Library, emphasized the seminar’s importance. “Today’s seminar is like calibrating our compasses together, ensuring everyone sees the same target and understands their role in moving the organization forward,” he stated. “Clear communication and universal participation are key to leading our library to success and building a strong organizational culture.”

A key part of the event was the “Director Award” ceremony, where the director presented certificates of honor to staff members who demonstrated outstanding commitment and dedication throughout the past year. The awards were intended to recognize valuable contributions, boost morale, and provide positive role models, reflecting an organizational culture that values and appreciates its personnel.

The seminar also served as a platform for staff to brainstorm and provide feedback for improving work processes. Through group activities and open discussion, the event aimed to strengthen internal communication and relationships, fostering a positive and unified work atmosphere.

This initiative highlights the KKU Library’s commitment to participatory and transparent management. The library’s leadership believes that a shared understanding of common goals is the driving force that will enable the organization to fulfill its vision and mission, ultimately delivering excellent service to its users and the community.
