
A team of specialists from Khon Kaen University’s (KKU) library led a workshop on “AI for Research” at Rajabhat Maha Sarakham University (RMU) on November 12, 2025. The training session was organized by RMU’s Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology to enhance the research capabilities of its faculty and staff by leveraging artificial intelligence.
The workshop took place at the Banhan Ratchanakarin Building on the RMU campus. Assistant Professor Praima Hiangrat, Director of RMU’s Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology, presided over the opening ceremony.
The primary goal of the event was to equip faculty and staff with the knowledge and skills to effectively integrate AI tools into their research processes. The training covered the application of AI from the initial stages of information retrieval and data analysis to the creation of high-quality, credible academic work.
Experts from Khon Kaen University’s library were invited to serve as the main speakers and trainers for the hands-on workshop. The team included Yossayada Sittiwong, Head of the Reference Information and Innovation Unit, along with Nattorn Leawprasert and Teerayut Balachon. They provided intensive training on applying various AI tools within a research context, sharing practical knowledge and inspiring new ideas among the attendees.
This academic collaboration highlights the role of the KKU library as a leading learning organization committed to sharing knowledge and innovation. The initiative underscores its dedication to advancing the nation’s academic and research landscape in response to the evolving digital world.
