
On Thursday, July 17, 2025, Khon Kaen University Library welcomed a seven-member delegation from the Service and Learning Promotion Division of Chiang Mai University Library. The visit aimed to foster an exchange of knowledge on developing innovative services and promoting effective learning.
The delegation toured both the Khon Kaen University Library and the Bhumiphirom Library at the Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University. Khon Kaen University Library is recognized for its significant role in supporting teaching, research, and academic services, particularly for its advancements in developing and implementing technological innovations in information services. This makes it a notable model for other higher education libraries seeking to enhance their service operations.
The visiting team was warmly received by Khon Kaen University Library executives, including Associate Professor Dr. Kanda Saikaew, Deputy Director for Digital Technology and Innovation, and Ms. Suthilak Patpeng, Deputy Director for Services and Information Resource Management, at the Dok Koon Meeting Room.






The exchange focused on key areas such as space management, the operation of 24-hour learning spaces, the application of modern technology in developing information services, services that promote learning and support research, and the provision of Artificial Intelligence (AI) services.
This visit represents more than just a study tour; it is a significant step towards building a strong academic collaboration network. The aim is to collectively elevate library services and create the best possible learning experiences for students and personnel at both universities.
