
Khon Kaen University Library recently hosted faculty and students from Khon Kaen University International College (KKUIC) for a study visit focused on enhancing digital information literacy skills. The event, held on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, showcased the library’s capabilities as a “Learning Center for All,” ready to support teaching and learning with advanced technology and innovation.
This activity was part of the IC011016 Information Literacy / Digital Information Literacy course, led by Lecturer Jesper T.N. Knijnenburg, and involved 29 first to third-year students. Ms. Prapaporn Monthathip and Mr. Siwanat Srisunthorn, expert librarians, served as guides and lecturers. They provided insights and demonstrated various tools and technologies designed to facilitate information retrieval and the effective use of information resources, along with guidelines for using the library’s spaces.
The visit underscored the Khon Kaen University Library’s commitment to being more than just a repository of books. It aims to be a learning partner, providing essential experiences and tools for all students to apply classroom knowledge in practical settings and to fully develop their potential in a data and technology-driven world. Khon Kaen University Library expressed its pleasure in inspiring and serving students from all faculties.
