Library Executives Attend Legal Training to Enhance Good Governance

Administrators from the Khon Kaen University Library participated in a legal training program aimed at improving management practices and ensuring adherence to good governance principles.

The workshop, titled “How to Manage Without Complaints and Lawsuits: Case Studies from Higher Education Institutions,” was organized by the Legal Affairs Division of the Office of the President. The event took place in the Sirikunakorn 3 room at Khon Kaen University.

Attendees from the library’s senior management team included Ms. Sutthilak Padpeng, Deputy Director for Administration and Human Resources; Ms. Tipanan Pongsuwan, Deputy Director for Planning, Quality Development, and Building Systems; and Ms. Tasanee Inlam, Director of the Administrative Division.

The training focused on providing administrators with knowledge of laws relevant to managing within a higher education setting. It featured real-world case studies to offer practical guidance on preventing and avoiding complaints and legal disputes that can arise from administrative duties.

The library’s participation in this program highlights its commitment to developing the capabilities of its leadership team. The goal is to ensure the organization is managed effectively, transparently, and in accordance with the principles of good governance, which will ultimately benefit service to users and support the library’s sustainable development.
