From August 19-20, 2025, the Khon Kaen University Library was invited to conduct a workshop titled “Modern Organizations and the Utilization of AI” for employees and staff of the Khon Kaen Zoo. The training took place at the Suman Meeting Room within the Khon Kaen Zoo, with the objective of enhancing knowledge and skills in Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology and its practical application in the organization’s real-world operations.
The training featured several expert presenters. Dr. Prasit Pratumrat, an experienced Information Scientist specializing in Generative AI and smart data summarization and management tools, provided insights into ChatGPT, Gemini, and NotebookLM. He also covered techniques for creating Mind Maps and Audio Overviews to support analytical work and decision-making.
Mr. Teerayut Balchon, an experienced Information Scientist specializing in digital media creation, demonstrated the use of Canva in conjunction with AI for professional public relations design. He also explored the application of Generative AI for creating images and videos using leading tools such as Imagen, Veo3, Kling, and Suno AI, while emphasizing ethical guidelines for AI usage.
Concurrently, Mr. Pitipong Pimpa, an Information Technology Specialist, led practical sessions on designing slides, infographics, and presentations using modern tools like Gamma AI and Napkin. These sessions focused on developing creative skills to enable participants to communicate information effectively and engagingly.
The two-day training program included lectures, workshops, and the development of AI application plans for each department within the zoo. This comprehensive approach enabled over 30 participants to concretely apply the learned skills to improve service, communication, and work processes within their respective units.
The Khon Kaen University Library’s participation as trainers in this event underscores the expertise of its personnel, who are committed to transferring knowledge in digital technology and artificial intelligence to enhance the capabilities of public sector employees, ultimately contributing to sustainable organizational development.
