Experts from the Khon Kaen University (KKU) Library led a workshop on best practices for improving library services through customer feedback for staff at Rajabhat Mahasarakham University (RMU) on September 4, 2025.
The knowledge-sharing session, titled “Listening to the Voice of the Customer and Developing Library Services Towards Best Practices,” was presented by Ms. Nitiya Srivoradejpaisal, KKU Library’s Assistant Director for Administration, Corporate and Community Relations, and Ms. Akarima Soommart, a Senior Librarian.
The event was part of a personnel development and knowledge management project hosted by RMU’s Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology. The primary goal was to equip library staff with techniques for gathering and analyzing user feedback—the “Voice of Customer”—to make tangible improvements that genuinely meet user needs, a key component of achieving service excellence.
This collaboration underscores the KKU Library’s mission to function as a learning organization and provide academic services to the community. It also strengthens the academic network between the two universities, contributing to a collective effort to elevate the standards of library services across Thailand to an international level.
