KKU Library Elevates Digital Skills via “Generative AI in Daily Life” Workshop, Featuring Claude Pro as a Smart Assistant for Systematic Thinking and Planning

The Khon Kaen University (KKU) Library has advanced its future-ready learning initiatives by organizing a hands-on workshop titled “Generative AI in Daily Life: Ep. 1 Claude Pro – Your Assistant for Systematic Thinking, Planning, and Data Summarization.” This training program aimed to empower undergraduate and graduate students, faculty members, and staff with essential Artificial Intelligence skills, demonstrating how to efficiently integrate advanced AI tools into academic work, professional tasks, and daily information management.
The workshop featured Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kanda Saikaew, a distinguished faculty member from the Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering at KKU, as the keynote speaker. She delivered deep insights into the advanced capabilities of Claude Pro and shared essential techniques for Prompt Engineering. Her session highlighted how to leverage AI as an intelligent partner for systematic analysis, comprehensive planning, and distilling complex information into clear, actionable summaries.
Assisting in the session were co-speakers Mr. Donbowornpat Meekunchon, Assistant Director for Digital Technology and Security, and Mr. Pitipong Pimpa, Head of Strategic Planning and Information Technology at the KKU Library. They provided practical guidance during the hands-on sessions, ensuring participants could experiment with the tool effectively, safely, and ethically in alignment with modern digital standards.
This workshop series underscores the fundamental mission of the KKU Library to serve as a “Learning Center for All,” actively supporting Khon Kaen University’s vision of becoming a world-leading research and development institution while fostering a sustainable learning society through digital innovation.
