The Khon Kaen University (KKU) Library has been awarded the “Outstanding Higher Education Library for 2025,” a prestigious recognition of its excellence in library management and services.
The award was presented by the Thai Library Association under the Royal Patronage of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn during its 2025-2026 national academic conference and annual general meeting. The ceremony, held on March 26, 2026, at the Prince Palace Hotel in Bangkok, honored organizations and individuals in the library and information science field.
Ms. Suttilak Phadpheng, the library’s Deputy Director for Administration and Human Resources, accepted the award on behalf of the university from Khunying Kasama Varavarn na Ayudhya, who presided over the ceremony.
This recognition highlights the KKU Library’s success in developing high-quality services, establishing it as a model for other academic libraries in the country. The award reflects the library’s commitment to its role as a “Learning Center for All,” dedicated to continuously supporting the education, research, and lifelong learning needs of students, faculty, staff, and the wider community.
This achievement aligns with Khon Kaen University’s broader vision of becoming “A World-Leading Research and Development University.”
