
The Khon Kaen University (KKU) Library hosted a delegation from King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) for a study visit focused on innovative library services and fostering inter-institutional collaboration.
On Friday, January 23, 2026, a team of 15 staff members from KMUTT’s International Affairs Office was welcomed by Mr. Wanchat Phumee, the KKU Library’s Deputy Director for Services, Infrastructure, and Innovation, along with his staff.
The visit was part of a knowledge management exchange program organized by KKU’s International Affairs Division. The initiative aims to facilitate the sharing of experiences, knowledge, and best practices in international affairs operations between the two universities, while also building a strong collaborative network.
Mr. Wanchat provided an overview of the KKU Library’s operations, space management, and various service innovations designed to position it as a modern learning hub that meets the needs of users in the digital age.
The KMUTT delegation was given a tour of the library’s facilities, including its Co-working Space and Creative & Makerspace. They also observed the technologies integrated into the library’s services, showing keen interest and engaging in a friendly exchange of ideas.
The event was seen as a valuable opportunity to build relationships and strengthen the professional network between staff from Khon Kaen University and KMUTT. The KKU Library expressed its pleasure in sharing its knowledge and experience to contribute to the future advancement of services and innovation within Thai higher education institutions.
