On Monday, November 10, 2025, library staff from the Khon Kaen University Library, led by Ms. Siriporn Tiwasing, Senior Professional Librarian, were invited to serve as consultants for the “Mobile Cinema Parade Project.” They participated in knowledge sharing and collaborative learning with the local learning network at the Anti-Drug Sports Ground, Phu Khiao Municipality, Phu Khiao District, Chaiyaphum Province. The event was supported by the Thai Film Archive (Public Organization), Ministry of Culture, which dispatched the first and only mobile cinema truck in Asia to provide entertainment and educational opportunities for students and local residents in Phu Khiao District.
This initiative was organized to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s 60th birthday anniversary. Her Royal Highness graciously bestowed the name “Chaloemthat” upon the mobile cinema truck.
Ms. Siriporn Tiwasing, Senior Professional Librarian at Khon Kaen University Library, project advisor and coordinator of learning promotion activities, stated, “Cooperative educational networks are a crucial mechanism for driving a learning society. The Khon Kaen University Library is honored to collaborate with Phu Khiao Municipality and the Thai Film Archive in inspiring lifelong learning for people of all ages and advancing the Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG4) for quality education.”
