Khon Kaen University Library Welcomes Delegation from 11 Leading U.S. Universities

The Khon Kaen University Library hosted a delegation of administrators and representatives from 11 prominent universities in the United States to foster international academic networks and exchange knowledge on information management.

On Wednesday, October 29, 2025, a group of 13 delegates visited the KKU campus as part of the International Academic Partnership Program (IAPP Thailand 2025). This initiative is a collaboration between the U.S. Embassy in Thailand, the Institute of International Education (IIE), and Thailand’s Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.

The visit aimed to promote academic cooperation between universities in the United States and Thailand. The delegation included senior administrators from leading institutions such as Texas A&M University, The Pennsylvania State University, and Lehigh University.

During their visit, the delegates showed significant interest in a photo exhibition titled “60 Years of Khon Kaen University: A Dedication to Society,” located on the first floor of the Information Center building. The exhibition chronicles the university’s history and development over the past six decades.

This international visit not only highlighted the library’s role as a key learning resource but also reinforced Khon Kaen University’s position as an educational hub dedicated to building global academic partnerships.
