Khon Kaen University Library has been honored with a departmental award for its outstanding commitment to promoting staff well-being, receiving recognition in the “KKU Healthy Life 6” project. The award ceremony took place on September 17, 2025, at Sirikunakorn Meeting Room 3, Office of the President, Khon Kaen University.
Organized by the Human Resources Division of Khon Kaen University, the award acknowledges departments that actively support and encourage their personnel to participate in the “KKU Healthy Life 6” physical and mental health promotion project for the 2025 fiscal year. This accolade underscores the library’s dedication to fostering a healthy work environment and highlights its success in continuously engaging staff in health-related activities throughout the project period, which ran from June 6 to August 31, 2025.
Adding to the library’s achievements, Mr. Supachai Anawatpong, a former staff member of the Khon Kaen University Library, received a special award in the category for male personnel aged 61 and above, a source of collective pride for the entire library staff.
Ms. Suthilak Patpeng, Deputy Director for Administration and Human Resources, accepted the prestigious award on behalf of the Khon Kaen University Library. This recognition serves as a testament to the library’s emphasis on the welfare and holistic health of its employees, which is considered a fundamental pillar for strengthening the organization and delivering excellent, sustainable services to the university community.
