
Khon Kaen University Library recently welcomed a delegation of 49 faculty members and students from Mahamakut Buddhist University, Isan Campus, for a study visit focused on digital and information technology. The visit took place on September 15, 2025.
The delegation was led by Phrakhru Wutthithammasan, Asst. Prof. Dr., and Phra Palad Wasan Teerawaro, Dr., who teach the course GE 1002, “Humans and Life in the Digital Age.” The purpose of their visit was to gain insights and exchange knowledge at the Khon Kaen University Library.
Ms. Mukda Duangpim, a Senior Professional Librarian, and Ms. Nattorn Liaoprasert, a Librarian, extended a warm welcome to the visitors. Mr. Pitipong Pimpa, an Information Technology Officer, and Mr. Panuwat Uthaiban, a Professional Information Specialist, served as speakers. They shared their perspectives and experiences on enhancing library services in the digital era. The study visit specifically aimed to promote research and learning among second-year Early Childhood Education students, emphasizing the understanding and use of information technology for data retrieval, a crucial skill in the digital age.
The visiting group toured the library’s modern and diverse service areas, including the KKU Maker Space, which is designed to foster creativity and innovation. They also observed advanced learning support technologies and information resources, available in both physical and digital formats. This aligns with the library’s vision of becoming a “Learning Center for All,” aiming to create educational opportunities and promote lifelong learning.
