On Thursday, July 3, 2025, the library received an honorary plaque from the Central Blood Bank, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University.
The award ceremony took place at the Information Center Building of the Khon Kaen University Library. Dr. Chantharattana Sittisomjin, Deputy Director for Planning, Quality Development, and Administration at the Khon Kaen University Library, accepted the plaque on behalf of the institution. Ms. Poonsap Sripara, Head of Blood Procurement at the Central Blood Bank, Faculty of Medicine, presented the award, accompanied by her team.
The plaque recognizes the library’s continuous cooperation in organizing blood donation drives, providing facilities, and actively promoting participation among students and staff. The donated blood has been crucial for patient treatment and surgeries at Srinagarind Hospital and its network, significantly benefiting the wider community.
This collaboration between the two entities highlights Khon Kaen University’s commitment to social contribution and reinforces the library’s role as a learning center that actively supports beneficial community activities.
