Khon Kaen University Library continues to fulfill its role as a key learning and academic support unit for the university community. Most recently, Mr. Panuwat Uthaiban, an experienced Information Scientist from the library, was invited to serve as a lecturer for a workshop titled “Elevating Japanese Translation and Interpretation Skills with AI: From Interpreter Training to High-Quality Translation Production.”

The workshop, organized by the Bachelor of Arts Program in Oriental Languages (Japanese Major) within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, took place on August 13, 2025, at Meeting Room 1, HS.05 Building, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Its primary objective was to equip students with the knowledge and practical skills to effectively apply Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in their studies and professional work related to translation and interpretation. The training focused on utilizing modern tools such as Gemini Live Mode and AI Studio for analyzing, summarizing, and quality-checking translation work.
