
Khon Kaen University Library welcomed a 24-member delegation from the Lao Banking Institution, operating under the Bank of Laos, on August 22, 2025. Mr. Wanchart Phoomee, Deputy Director for Services, Physical Resources, and Innovation, along with Ms. Thatsanee Inlam, Director of Administration at the Library, extended a warm reception to the visitors.
During the visit, the library’s management team provided a tour of its modern service areas and learning technologies. These facilities are designed to promote learning through advanced technology, supporting the library’s transition into a “Learning Center for All” and fostering lifelong learning.
The Lao delegation explored various contemporary service areas, including the 24-hour reading zone and dedicated meeting spaces. These areas are specifically designed to encourage creative thinking and innovation. The tour also highlighted the library’s advanced learning support technologies and its extensive collection of both physical and digital information resources. This aligns with the library’s vision of becoming a comprehensive learning hub that provides educational opportunities and promotes continuous learning.
The study visit was characterized by a warm and friendly atmosphere, facilitating constructive exchange of ideas, opinions, and questions among the participants. This interaction proved highly beneficial for enhancing concepts and developing knowledge in the field of learning innovation.
