Khon Kaen University Library Staff Lead AI for Research Workshop

KHON KAEN – Five staff members from the Office of the Library were invited as guest speakers to lead a workshop on using AI tools for research. The event was part of a 2025 project aimed at advancing research and innovation to address key public health issues in Khon Kaen province.

The two-day training session took place on September 1-2, 2025, at the Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Khon Kaen. Over 100 personnel from the Khon Kaen Provincial Public Health Office attended the workshop.

The library team was led by Yossayada Sittiwong, a Senior Librarian and Head of the Reference and Innovation Information Unit. The other speakers included Pithiphong Phimpha, Head of Strategic Planning and Information Technology; Theerayut Balachon, a Senior Information Scientist; Siwanat Srisunthorn, a Senior Librarian; and Natta-on Lieoprasert, a Librarian.

The workshop was designed to provide participants with knowledge and understanding of two main topics: “AI for Research and Academic Work: Effective Searching, Literature Review, and Writing,” and “Techniques for Creating Posters and Presenting Academic Research with AI: Canva.”
