KKU Library Empowers Dental Hospital Staff with AI Agent Design Training for Digital Transformation

In line with Khon Kaen University’s (KKU) drive to become a leading “Digital University,” the KKU Library recently dispatched its team of technology experts to conduct a specialized training workshop for the university’s Dental Hospital. Held on May 11, 2026, at the Faculty of Dentistry, the workshop focused on designing AI Agents to enhance operational efficiency and service innovation.

The seminar, titled “AI Agent Design for Organizations,” aimed to equip dental hospital personnel with advanced artificial intelligence skills. By integrating AI into their daily workflows, the hospital seeks to streamline services, boost productivity, and foster internal innovation.

The training was led by three seasoned specialists from the KKU Library: Teerayut Balchon and Panuwat Uthaiban, both Senior Professional Information Specialists, alongside Wichayut Sreela, an Information Technology Officer.

Designed as a hands-on, practical session, the curriculum covered essential concepts and real-world applications, including:

  • AI Agent Concepts: Understanding how AI can serve as an intelligent organizational assistant.
  • Workflow Automation with n8n: Designing automated processes to eliminate redundant tasks.
  • Google AI Studio: Utilizing advanced tools to analyze data from documents and databases.
  • Integration & Dashboards: Connecting Google Workspace with automated workflows and developing dashboards to support executive decision-making.
  • Smart Notifications & Assistants: Integrating the LINE application for critical alerts and developing interactive AI assistants for internal use.

This collaboration highlights the expanding role of the KKU Library. Beyond traditional information services, the Library is positioning itself as a vital technological hub, sharing expertise to help various faculties and departments transition sustainably into the digital era.
