The Khon Kaen University (KKU) Library welcomed a delegation of 111 administrators, teachers, and educational staff from Surawittayakarn School in Surin province for a study visit focused on modern learning resource management and innovation. The visit was part of the school’s initiative to achieve organizational excellence in line with international standards.
The delegation was received on May 7, 2026, by the library’s leadership team, including the Deputy Director for Services, Physical Plant, and Innovation, the Assistant Director for Administration, Organization, and Community Relations, and the Director of the Administration Division.
During the visit, the group toured the library’s service areas and innovative facilities. A team of expert librarians and information specialists guided the tour, providing insights into the library’s operations. Key highlights included a presentation on the library’s latest service innovation, the “Metaverse Experience,” and an introduction to the “KKU Maker Space,” a dedicated area for creative and innovative projects.
The study visit centered on exchanging knowledge about managing a modern learning center, applying information technology to support teaching and learning, and creating learning spaces that foster innovation. Surawittayakarn School plans to use the insights gained from the visit to develop its own library system and staff capabilities, with the goal of advancing toward international standards.
