A student from Khon Kaen University’s Faculty of Science has developed a new digital system for managing personnel data as the final project of her professional internship at the university library.
On the morning of March 18, 2026, Nithinan Srikongphan, an Information Statistics and Data Science major, presented her project titled “Development of a Personnel Excellence Database System for the KKU Library using AppSheet.” The presentation was the culmination of her practical training period at the library.
The project utilized AppSheet technology to create a streamlined database, aiming to enhance the efficiency of storing and systematically accessing the library staff’s information.
The presentation was delivered to a committee of library executives and specialists, including Yuphaphon Thongnoi, the Assistant Director for Strategy and Information Resource Management, and other heads of technology and planning units. The student’s work throughout the internship was supervised by mentors from the library’s corporate administration and public relations departments.
The session provided a platform for the student to share the knowledge and experience gained during her hands-on training. It also served as an opportunity for her to offer feedback for the future development of the library’s internship program. The committee provided constructive comments, engaging in a productive exchange aimed at refining the training program for subsequent interns.
