The Khon Kaen University Library, in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation and the company EBSCO, hosted a training session on the use of electronic databases for research on February 4, 2026.
The full-day workshop, held from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in a computer lab at the university’s Information Center, was the second round of training for the 2026 fiscal year aimed at institutions in Thailand’s northeastern region. The session focused on providing instruction for four specific online databases.
Ms. Suttilak Padpeng, the library’s Deputy Director for Administration and Human Resources, delivered the opening remarks and welcomed the attendees.
Khon Kaen University served as the host venue for participants from several regional universities, including Mahasarakham University, Ubon Ratchathani University, Nakhon Phanom University, and Kalasin University, in addition to its own faculty and students.
