Fifty-two undergraduate students in Sociology and Anthropology at Khon Kaen University participated in a hands-on workshop on January 27 to learn data reporting using Looker Studio. The session was designed to equip them with modern data visualization skills for social science research.
The workshop, titled “Creating a Data Report via Looker Studio,” was held in a Smart Classroom at the university’s Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. It was organized as part of the course “HS423303 Research Data Management Techniques.”
The university’s Office of the Library supported the event by providing an expert instructor, Yuwadee Petchara, a Senior Professional Librarian specializing in data analysis and information systems. She led the three-hour seminar, guiding students through the process of transforming raw data into comprehensive and effective reports.
The initiative aimed to provide students with practical skills using modern tools, which are considered essential for strengthening the quality and presentation of research in the social sciences.
