Khon Kaen University Library Staff Receive Cybersecurity Training

Staff from the Office of the Library at Khon Kaen University participated in an online training session on January 23, 2026, aimed at enhancing cybersecurity awareness and outlining prevention strategies. The virtual workshop was conducted via Zoom for over 42 library employees.

Donbowornpat Meekunchorn, the Assistant Director for Digital Technology and Security, delivered the opening remarks. He stated that the session’s objective is to provide continuous development of cybersecurity knowledge for library personnel, aligning with the goals of the university’s 2026 annual action plan.

The lecture was conducted by Wanat Phadee, a computer specialist from the university’s Office of Digital Technology. Topics covered included an overview of the 2026 cyber threat landscape, threat prevention techniques, and best practices for online security.

To measure the effectiveness of the training, participants completed knowledge assessments both before and after the session. This was done to ensure a tangible improvement in their understanding and ability to apply cybersecurity principles in their work.
