On January 22, 2026, the Khon Kaen University (KKU) Library welcomed faculty members from the university’s own Department of Statistics to supervise student interns and exchange insights on practical training.
The visiting faculty from the Faculty of Science included Assistant Professor Dr. Thipatai Pongsart and Dr. Pichaya Wiratchotesathian. They were greeted by Ms. Nitiya Sriweradechpaisan, the library’s Assistant Director for Administration, Organization, and Community Relations, along with internship mentor Ms. Akrima Summart.
The purpose of the visit was to monitor the progress of statistics students currently undertaking internships at the library. The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss best practices for managing internship programs, foster collaboration to enhance student skills and experience, and gather feedback to further improve the effectiveness of the training program.
