The Khon Kaen University Library has been awarded an Honorable Mention in the Innovation category (Group 3) at the prestigious KKU Show & Share 2025 forum.
The award ceremony took place on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The event was presided over by Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, M.D. President of Khon Kaen University, who presented the awards to the winning teams.
The KKU Library submitted a total of six projects to the KKU Show & Share 2025 event, with all six being selected for the final poster presentation round. Out of these, one project earned special recognition.
The winning project, which received the Honorable Mention, is titled “Development of a Knowledge Management System to Foster a Learning Organization at the Khon Kaen University Library.” This achievement was officially recognized in Khon Kaen University Announcement No. 3231/2025, dated December 4, 2025.
The dedicated team behind this innovative project includes: Ms. Nitiya Srivoradejpaisal, Ms. Akrima Soommart, Mr. Teerayut Balachon, Ms. Yaowaporn Santiviwat, Ms. Prapaporn Monthatip, Mrs. Yuwadee Petchara, Ms. Waraporn Phanomsiri, and Ms. Nattorn Leawprasert.
The five other projects from the library that were shortlisted from a competitive field of 127 total submissions include:
1. Data-Driven HRD Dashboard: Real Data Driving Human Resource Development and Measurable Outcomes. (by Mrs. Yuwadee Petchara and Ms. Siriporn Tiwasing)
2.Generative AI: A New Generation Assistant for Promoting Electronic Databases at the KKU Library. (by Ms. Waraporn Phanomsiri)
3.AI Tools for Smart Communication: Applying AI in Designing Posters for Staff Development Activities at the KKU Library. (by Ms. Methaya Saomalee and Mrs. Yuwadee Petchara)
4.SMART Catalog Librarian by Generative AI: Enhancing the Efficiency of Classification and Subject Heading Assignment for Information Resources. (by Mrs. Yupaporn Thongnoi and Mrs. Mukda Duangpim)
5.Smart Library Space Intelligence: An Analytical System for Library Space Utilization. (by Mr. Donbawornphat Meekunchon and Mr. Pitipong Pimpa)
The success of these projects highlights the KKU Library’s commitment to innovation and its role in transforming the university into a modern learning organization.
