Khon Kaen University Library Advances Community Service Mission, Imparts Advanced Information Retrieval Techniques to Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, Khon Kaen Students.

Khon Kaen University Library continues its mission of academic community service, with Ms. Yossayada Sittiwong, a Senior Librarian, serving as an instructor for the “Online Library Database Search Training Project 2025.” The program was organized by Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, Khon Kaen Campus, and took place from July 16-17, 2025.

The project’s opening ceremony on July 16, 2025, was presided over by Asst. Prof. Dr. Prapan Yawarat, Vice President of the Khon Kaen Campus. Ms. Panuda Klinboon, Director of the Academic Resources and Information Technology Office, delivered a report highlighting the project’s significance. Over 210 students showed keen interest and participated in the training.

Throughout the training, Ms. Yodsayada imparted in-depth knowledge and systematic techniques for searching online databases. This instruction aims to enable students to effectively apply these skills in their report writing and thesis preparation. This academic service initiative underscores the capabilities of Khon Kaen University Library’s personnel and its readiness to serve as a crucial academic reference for the region, supporting and enhancing the quality of education for network institutions and the community sustainably.
