On August 8, 2025, at 11:30 AM, Khon Kaen University Library organized a blessing ceremony to honor Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother on the auspicious occasion of her birthday, August 12, which also marks National Mother’s Day. The ceremony took place at the Dok Koon Meeting Room, 1st Floor, Building 1 of the Library.
The event featured an altar adorned with a portrait of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, accompanied by royal offerings. Associate Professor Dr. Supat Sinawat, Director of Khon Kaen University Library, presided over the ceremony. He offered flowers, incense, and candles before the royal portrait and led attendees in reciting a blessing.
Following the blessing, the Director, along with the library’s executives and staff, signed a book of well wishes. All participants wore blue attire to express their loyalty and profound gratitude for Her Majesty’s boundless benevolence towards the Thai people throughout her reign.
