On Thursday, August 14, 2025, Khon Kaen University Library joined a tree planting project held to commemorate the 73rd birthday of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua (Rama X).
The library’s delegation was led by Ms. Sutthilak Patpeng, Deputy Director for Administration and Human Resources; Ms. Yuphaporn Thongnoi, Assistant Director for Strategic Driving and Information Resource Management; and Ms. Nitiya Sriworadechpaisarn, Assistant Director for General Administration, Organization, and Community Relations, along with other library staff.
The tree planting took place at the area opposite the Khon Kaen University Savings Cooperative, with saplings provided by the Physical and Environmental Division of the Utilities and Environment Department. This participation demonstrated the loyalty and unity of Khon Kaen University’s executives, staff, and students, and expressed gratitude for His Majesty’s benevolence.
The library’s involvement in this event reflects its commitment to participating in significant university activities and promoting environmental sustainability, alongside its primary mission of serving as a public learning resource.
