On June 16, 2026, the Khon Kaen University (KKU) Library hosted a presentation session showcasing the final internship projects of 17 Information Science (iSchool) students from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
Held at the Dok Koon Room in the Information Center Building, the event was organized by the Professional Internship School Management and Operations Committee, led by Yupaporn Thongnoi, Assistant Director for Strategic Drive and Information Resource Management.
A panel of academic and technical experts, alongside ten library mentors, attended to evaluate the presentations and provide constructive feedback. The evaluation panel included Yupaporn Thongnoi, Nitiya Sriworadetpaisan (Assistant Director for Corporate Administration and Community Relations), and Dr. Prasit Prathumrat (Head of the Digital Technology and Audiovisual Unit).
The presentations highlighted a wide range of technological innovations, data analytics, and creative media designed to improve library services and campus resources.
KKU Library Internship Projects
Thirteen students who interned directly with the KKU Library presented nine distinct projects:
Digital Media & Archives: Sujittra Seelabut and Mantana Phooyiamjit developed digital media aimed at increasing undergraduate students’ awareness of and access to the KKU Archives.
Data Analytics Dashboards: Two projects focused on data-driven service improvements. Nantawan Soonphanrai and Risa Chaiphad created a dashboard to analyze meeting room booking data to streamline library services, while Thanakorn Yangthisan developed a dashboard tracking electronic database usage statistics.
Web and System Development: Attakrit Fodsoongnoen redesigned and upgraded the website for the library’s Professional Internship School. Meanwhile, Suphakit Saenphrom and Phurithat Wachiranimit developed the “KKUL Souvenir Shop Application” to manage the library’s merchandise sales.
Specialized Library Solutions: Phrutthiphong Nguangchang and Phuklin Muencharoen built “PharmaSphere,” a web application designed to support learning and services at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences Library.
AI and Automation: Highlighting modern technological trends, Witcha Pha-or developed the “KKUL AI Creator Hub,” a website aggregating AI tools for digital media creation. Ratchaphon Haemram designed an automated AI workflow using n8n to streamline podcast production and publishing, and Pathanin Uthairat created digital media to promote AI literacy.
Learning Innovation Center Projects
Four students who completed their internships at the KKU Learning Innovation Center—Pannawit Kham-boonyor, Narubadee Doksa, Natthida Moonmat, and Papinyin Khonsak—collaboratively presented a project focused on producing educational video content and public relations media on technology and artificial intelligence.
Looking Forward
Following the presentations, the committee and experts engaged in a constructive Q&A session, offering practical recommendations. The feedback aimed to help the students further refine and scale their projects, ensuring their innovations can be practically integrated to enhance the services of the KKU Library and its affiliate departments in the future.
