KKU Library Hosts Legal Training to Boost Transparency and Good Governance

The Khon Kaen University (KKU) Library recently organized an online training session aimed at enhancing transparency, good governance, and legal compliance among its staff. Held on Friday, June 5, 2026, via Zoom Meeting, the workshop drew participation from 49 library personnel.

The webinar, titled “Legal Precautions in the Operations of KKU Library Personnel,” was organized by the library’s Human Resources Development and Best Place to Work Committee. Ms. Suthilak Patpheng, Deputy Director of Administration and Human Resources, presided over the opening ceremony. The initiative was designed to equip staff with a comprehensive understanding of relevant laws and regulations, enabling them to apply this knowledge effectively to their daily responsibilities.

Mr. Narongsak Cherdchay, Head of the Litigation and Legal Affairs Section of KKU’s Legal Division, served as the guest speaker. His presentation focused on critical legal precautions associated with current library operations. By highlighting potential legal pitfalls, the session aimed to prevent operational errors and foster an organizational culture of accountability and integrity.

This training aligns with the university’s broader goals, specifically supporting KKU’s Strategic Issue 6, Pillar 2. It also directly addresses the library’s key performance indicator (KRL18), which emphasizes the continuous development of personnel regarding operational standards and legal frameworks.
