
On May 25, 2026, the Khon Kaen University Library warmly welcomed a delegation of 60 10th-grade students (Generation 16) and 10 student mentors from the Science Classrooms in Sections with University Supervision Project (SCiUS-KKU). The delegation visited the library to explore its modern learning spaces and information services. Mr. Wanchat Phumee, Associate Director for Services, Physical Facilities, and Innovation, alongside a team of expert librarians, officially received and guided the group at the KKU Library.
The primary purpose of this study visit was to expose high-potential science and technology students to the university’s advanced academic resources and innovative learning environments. During the tour, Mr. Wanchat Phumee showcased various versatile learning spaces tailored for contemporary education. He highlighted how the library integrates technology, digital information resources, and state-of-the-art facilities to support student research and independent studies.
To further enrich their academic skills, the students attended an insightful orientation on data retrieval and library operations. The session was conducted by senior library experts, including Mrs. Yupa Doungphim, Senior Professional Level Librarian, and Miss Yosyada Sitthiwong, Senior Professional Level Librarian. They provided valuable guidance on leveraging international academic databases, library service protocols, and digital tools essential for scientific project development.
