Officials from the Khon Kaen University (KKU) Library welcomed a faculty member from Mahasarakham University on February 2, 2024, for a meeting to review the progress of students participating in a professional internship program.
Dr. Pathorn Nil-athi, a lecturer from the Information Science program at Mahasarakham University’s Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, visited the KKU Library to supervise the university’s interns. The visit, which took place from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM, was designed to monitor student performance and gather feedback from the host institution.
The Mahasarakham University representative was received by a team from the KKU Library responsible for managing the internship program. The welcoming committee included Yupaporn Thongnoi, Assistant Director for Strategy and Information Resource Management, along with several student mentors: Senior Information Specialist Theerayut Balachon, Network Library Services Head Sudawadee Chaidechtayakul, and library coordinator Chutikarn Butprom.
The meeting provided a platform for an exchange of ideas between the university, the library’s management, mentors, and the students themselves. The primary goal was to assess the effectiveness of the internship experience and identify opportunities for future improvements to ensure the program’s long-term success.
