Khon Kaen University Library Hosts Hospital Delegation for Study on Educational Innovation

A delegation of executives and staff from Queen Savang Vadhana Memorial Hospital visited the Khon Kaen University Library on September 9, 2025, to study the university’s advancements in educational technology and service innovation.

The 11-member group, led by the hospital’s Deputy Director, Dr. Nattawut Satrawaha, was focused on gaining insights into “Medical Education Technology and Teaching Innovations.” The objective of the visit is to apply the knowledge gained to enhance the hospital’s clinical medical education programs and keep pace with rapid technological changes.

The delegation was welcomed by the library’s director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supat Sinawat, and other key personnel. The university team presented on several key topics, including the management of 24-hour facilities and services, the application of modern technology to develop information services, and methods for promoting learning and supporting research. Special emphasis was placed on the library’s use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), VR headsets, and the Metaverse to create modern, immersive learning experiences.

The study visit was also positioned as an opportunity to build a stronger collaborative network between the leading academic and medical institutions. The library expressed its hope that the exchange of knowledge would be mutually beneficial for the ongoing development of both organizations.
