
KHON KAEN – Khon Kaen University’s Academic Service Bureau hosted a practical workshop on June 4, 2025, titled “AI for Professional Executive Secretaries: Enhancing Efficiency with Intelligent Technology.” The event, held at the Bayasita Hotel on the university campus, drew significant interest, with numerous participants from both public and private sectors attending.
Associate Professor Dr. Chuchat Kamonlert, Director of the Academic Service Bureau, inaugurated the workshop. He emphasized the Bureau’s crucial role in promoting lifelong learning, a key university strategy focused on developing human potential to navigate the changes of the digital world and Industry 4.0. This is achieved through various Reskill & Upskill projects for professionals across diverse fields.
The workshop featured Associate Professor Dr. Kanda Saikaew, Deputy Director of Digital Technology and Innovation at Khon Kaen University’s Library, as a key speaker. She highlighted the indispensable nature of AI skills for secretaries in the contemporary digital landscape, stating that organizations in both governmental and business sectors require personnel capable of leveraging AI to boost operational efficiency and meet modern demands.
Throughout the course, attendees engaged in both theoretical learning and hands-on practice. Topics covered included advanced AI prompting techniques, rapid document and meeting report generation, crafting speeches and motivational texts, professional social media content creation, and designing promotional materials using platforms such as Canva, Napkin, and Gamma. The curriculum also encompassed online form design and the ethical considerations for safe and proper AI utilization.
This training initiative reflects Khon Kaen University’s dedication to empowering its workforce to become key contributors in the digital era, aligning with sustainable development goals and the institution’s aim to foster a learning society that propels national progress.
