Mr. Donbowornpat Meekunshon, Assistant Director for Digital Technology and Security at the Khon Kaen University Library, represented the library’s executive team at the official opening ceremony of the BDI Young Innovator Hackathon 2026. The prestigious national competition, vying for the Royal Trophy graciously bestowed by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, was held at the Northeast Science Park, Khon Kaen University, to celebrate and support the technological creativity of youth innovators.
The national hackathon serves as a premier platform designed to cultivate and discover young talents in technology and data science. It focuses primarily on utilizing Big Data and cutting-edge digital technology to tackle pressing real-world challenges and spur sustainable social development, attracting a massive wave of university students and emerging developers from across the country.
